At Skidome we have optical biathlon rifles that create the right feeling. For the best experience, we always go through basic ski technique and test the shooting before finishing with a rattling relay! Of course with penalty rounds for those who miss one or a couple of shots.
We always prepare our tracks after closing time so that the snow can settle and freeze overnight. Right now, we are preparing the tracks three times a week. You'll find freshly groomed tracks and skate lanes on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. The reason we don't prepare more frequently is due to the snow quality. I we would do it more often would break down the snow, resulting in looser or sugary conditions. Learn more about our snow and grooming below.Curious about our snow?
